Safety Information

Safety Information

List of safety warnings for photovoltaic systems based on the requirements of Regulation (EU) 2023/988 on General Product Safety (GPSR):

1. Risk of electric shock:

* Ensure that the photovoltaic system has been installed by a qualified electrician.

* Do not touch damaged photovoltaic panels or cables.

* Disconnect the system from the power supply before performing any maintenance work.

* In the event of a fire in the system, do not extinguish it with water—there is a risk of electric shock.

2. Risk of falling from a height:

* Roof-mounted installations should be performed by individuals with the appropriate certifications and safety equipment.

* Regularly check the condition of the photovoltaic panel mounts to prevent them from becoming loose or falling.

* Do not climb onto the roof during strong winds or when the roof is icy.

3. Fire hazard:

* Use only certified photovoltaic components.

* Regularly inspect the condition of wires and connectors to ensure they are not damaged or overheated.

* Ensure adequate ventilation for the inverter to prevent it from overheating.

* Remove leaves and other debris from the panels to prevent them from catching fire.

4. Risk of mechanical damage:

* Protect the photovoltaic panels from impacts and other mechanical damage.

* If the panels are damaged, do not attempt to repair them yourself.

5. Health risks:

* Avoid prolonged
